Our process is designed to ensure every window and door system is tailored to your project requirements.
Step 1 – Consultation & Quotation. We discuss your project requirements and prepare a tailored quotation based on your drawings, specifications and performance goals.
Step 2 – Deposit. Once you decide to proceed, a 50% deposit secures your order. We then prepare detailed Shop Drawings for your review and approval.
Step 3 – Shop Drawings. We prepare detailed Shop Drawings showing dimensions, opening directions, glazing, hardware and other project-specific details for your review.
Step 4 – Customer Approval. You review and approve the Shop Drawings. This is the final opportunity to make changes before manufacturing begins.
Step 5 – European Manufacturing. Following your approval, your custom windows and doors are manufactured in Europe using advanced CNC technology and premium materials.
Step 6 – Final Payment. The remaining balance is payable prior to the release of the goods.
Step 7 – Importation & Delivery. We manage international freight and importation into Australia before arranging delivery to your nominated address.

Yes. Our windows and doors are supplied fully glazed, factory-coated using the Teknos coating system and fitted with all specified hardware. They arrive as complete units, ready for installation, subject to the project’s installation requirements.
Amber Windows is opening its showroom at Home Base Subiaco in Autumn 2026.
The showroom will feature a selection of our timber and aluminium-clad window and door systems, allowing you to explore different timber species, finishes, opening styles and hardware options in person. Displays will include Tilt & Turn windows, Casement windows, Lift & Slide doors and other high-performance systems, helping homeowners, architects and builders experience the quality, craftsmanship and functionality of our products firsthand.
Amber Windows has scheduled independent testing to Australian Standards in Autumn 2026. Testing will be conducted in Western Australia and will include key performance criteria such as wind resistance, water penetration, operating force and overall system performance.
In addition, our systems are designed and tested in Europe to stringent performance standards and are suitable for high-performance and energy-efficient residential projects.
Amber Windows operates as a supply-only business and does not provide installation services directly.
However, depending on the project location and scope, we may be able to recommend experienced third-party installers familiar with high-performance timber and aluminium-clad window systems. Any installation services are arranged separately between the customer and the installer.
Amber Windows provides a 10-year warranty on Accoya timber frames and profiles, 5 years on frames and profiles made from other timber species, 5 years on double and triple-glazed units, and 2 years on hardware. Gutmann aluminium cladding is covered for 2 to 10 years, depending on the coating specification, corrosion classification and environmental exposure.
These warranties cover applicable manufacturing defects and are in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. No timber should be considered completely termite-proof. Appropriate termite assessment, treatment, management systems and regular inspections are the responsibility of the client, builder and building certifier. Termite, insect and borer damage is not covered by the product warranty. For full warranty terms, exclusions and responsibilities, please read our T&Cs.
As a guide, most custom window and door orders take approximately 20-24 weeks from Production Commencement.
